COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: previously brewed at Nřgne Ř, Norway.

Danish: Det er en stout humlet som en India Pale Ale med tydelig bitterhed og en třr finish. Řllet holder 8,5% alkohol og smĺ 80 IBU. Den er brygget pĺ Maris Otter Malt, rřgmalt, britiske specialmalte og rřrsukker. I bĺde smag og aroma bćrer den prćg af en af mine favorithumler: Zeus (nogen gange kaldet Columbus eller Tomahawk), der er brugt i kedlen sammen med tjekkisk Saaz humle og alene som třrhumle. Den er lćkker at drikke nu mens humlen er frisk, men da den er eftergćret pĺ flasken har den bestemt ogsĺ lagringspotentiale, vil jeg mene.

Slick feel, soft carbonation, long finish. Nice combination between the roast flavour, other malts and a nice hoppy bitter finish. Medium to full body.

Hatalmas, tartós hab, fekete szín. Pörkölt malátás, csokis, kávés illat, aszalt szilvás aromával. Kávé, csokoládé, pörkölt maláta, aszalt gyümölcsök, citrusokkal és hajszálnyi gyanta, hosszú lecsengés. Testes, közepesen keserű, enyhén szénsavas. Kiváló egyensúlyú, nagyon finom sör.

Bottle. Pours almost black, solid head. Aroma and flavour is mix of roastiness. some chocolate, lots of coffee and citrusy and resiny hops notes. Medium body and carbonation, bitter citrus finish.

Aroma of chocolate, citrus fruits, caramel, toasted bread. Pours dark brown, creamy off white head. Taste is medium sweet and medium to light bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, medium to soft carbonation and a bit more hop forward finish. Complex and nice black IPA.

Vestergaard (1696) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2016
On tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours an almost black, dark brown with a medium sized brown head. Aroma has salmiakish roast, minty hops, super spicy, some dark chocolate, orange, toasted malts. Taste is pretty oily and sweet up front. A nutty toasted profile mid sip, finishing off with a hoppy, roasty bitter finish. Average carbonation and a pretty full body.

Draft @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Pours very deep brown, small tan head. Aroma is pine hop and roast. Taste is massively flavoursome, lots of grainy malt, roast and chocolate with some mild hop notes. Complex and tasty.

Warm dark brown colour. Nice and hoppy on the nose, with floral and resin notes. Very smooth on the palate, hops reconcile into some sweetness. Very quaffable.

Bottle Appellation Wines, Comely Bankers Draught tasting. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of fruit, citrus, pine, resin. Taste is liquorice, more fruit. Light bitter finish. Lovely!

Dark brown with light beige rocky head. Roasted aroma with some chocolate and light hoppy notes. Roasted flavour with caramel and clean bitterness. Notes of chocolate and fruit. Smooth mouthfeel.
