Bottle. Pours a nice brown/ maroon red color with a big creamy beige head, that leaves some awsome lacing! Aroma is of caramel, chocolate, dark fruit and a slight vinous note. Flavor is of sweet malts, caramel chocolate and both dried and non-dried dark fruits. I also get a hint of berries, and also that vinous note. Body is full with a creamy mouthfeel. Overall a different Old Ale that is very good, especially as its one of the brewery’s first beers!

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s Night of the Gaylords. Murky amber brown with a thin off white head. Big cheesey malt and plenty of fruit. Some chocolate and coffee plus some pleasant resinous hoppage. Straight forward but nice enough. Had a lot better from Beer Here though.
