Bottled. A slightly hazy, light golden beer with airy head and good head. Fresh, citrusy nose with good dose of resins. Also sweeter mango or papaya and parfume. Light, dry malt base, a hint of toastedness and just a bit of caramel. Bitterness is medium, resiny mostly. A bit thin in the finish, but very refreshing. Very smooth texture. Works well.

Bottle, 10C. Just hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light caramel, some herbal honey. All those come through in the taste, finish is dry and quite bitter. Hops don’t quite disentangle themselves from the sweetness. Still, pleasant enough.

On tap at ØlFestival 2012. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. The aroma has a soft citrusy and lightly peachy hoppyness, with some pale malts underneath. A touch of pine cones too. The flavor has citrus peel up front, but only the white part of the peel from oranges and grapefruit, with some pale malts as a backdrop, but not much sweetness. It’s pleasantly dry on the palate, full-bodied and nicely carbonated, finishing mostly bitter. Overall, a beer that could use some more of almost everything, alcohol excluded, but it drinks easy and tastes nice anyway. BTW, I don’t think it’s alcoholic in any way, just saying that the ABV level is perfect. 120510

Bottle. Aroma of grass, flowers and citrus. Slightly unclear yellow colour with white head. Surorisinglike sweet despite grapefruitlike taste. Light mouthfeel and pleasant fruity and not too dry aftertaste.

maneliquor (3071) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 26, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours yellow-orange with a medium, fluffy white head. Leaves spotty lacing behind. Nose is big on lemon zest and floral hops. Grassy tones under it all with a touch of honey. Quite sweet floral hops and a lemon curd finish. High carbonation right on the finish which helps the sweetness keep down. Still a little sweet for my liking of ipa’s. Solid beer though

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours ever so slightly cloudy golden with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is citrusy hops and caramel malt. Flavour is close to the aroma with sweet malt and citrus, and is not particularly bitter.

Pour slightly hazy light copper, with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma of pine, caramel, slightly floral. Rather tasty. The taste is sweet upfront, with a bitter end to it. Medium bodied, with an average carb.

Bottle at home. Pours a clearish golden. Mellow sweetness and quite bitter. Lots of hoppy aromas with some plant sap. Also hints of resin and tiny hints of pepper. Medium to full bodied. Softcarbonation. Hoppy finish.
