COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Forget all the fancy words to describe this beer. My friends and I had gone through a few bottles before finding what we wanted. Hoppy, bitter, full of flavour and in the end just tasty this beer finally ticked all the boxes.

On tap at søgaard bryghus, aalborg. Pours a light amber colour with a white head that lays a nice lacing in the glass after a little while. Aroma of grapes and some caramel. Flavour is fresh pineapple, raisins and grapefruit. Bitter finish, but not too much. I enjoyed this one!

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Malt and light caramel aroma with light grapefrruit. Grapefruit and light tangerine flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Light tangerine lingers with light caramel and light earthiness.

Pours a bright and pretty orange brown with a little head. Super aromas of both healthy malt and citrus-herbal hops. Very hoppy aroma-wise, but not overwhelmingly bitter. Some nice malt sweetness at the end - finishes with aromas reminiscent of tea. Good IPA style, but missing the X factor which takes it to the next level.

Medium amber, slightly hazy body with a quite long-lived, off-white head that laces the glass well. Very strong and heavy hoppy aroma: hops, hops and hops again. It’s of course fruity, but the hop profile is even more grassy and piney, with some citrus in the back. Light to moderate sweet taste and a moderate to heavy bitter finish. For such a massive hop aroma and flavour the bitterness feels quite gentle. The flavours are similar to the aroma, but also with a prominent caramel malty backbone. The mouthfeel is absolutely fantastic, it’s incredibly smooth and has a firm body with a fitting soft carbonation. A very enjoyable IPA!

50cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - Thanks! Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruits, malt and pine. Medium body. Sweet and caramelly with a pleasant, hoppy and bitter finish. Expires in November, so i guess it’s not so fresh. The hoppy flavours are not so dominant, but it’s still a pleasant beer!
