Draft. An amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of NW hops - is it Magnum? As well as lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of hops - again I’m thinking NW hops combined with some Nelson Sauvin, on a strong caramel/toffee back ground, and with the alcohol combining with the hops to bite the tongue, before the long lasting and very bitter finish sets in.

Bottle 66 cl. Pours an almost clear deep golden with a dense shaving foam style white and lacing head. Very perfumy hoppy nose. Medium body with some fruits but otherwise completely dominated by a solid dose of high alpha aroma hops ading pine and grapefruit and leaving a massive bitterness. Delicious. 110909

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2009 Bottled at Örebro Öl- och Whiskeyfestival. Hazy amber, small airy head. Sweaty lychee aroma. Sweet and medium-full bodied with well rounded mouthfeel and low carbonaion. Soft doughy malt is the foundation for an onslaught of hops giving a tropical fruit flavour and a powerful but unassaulting bitterness.

Draught at KØ10. Distinct grassy aroma, a little sweet. Hazy amber colour. Very small white head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, grassy and hoppy. High bitterness. Also some caramelly hop.

Draught at Ølbaren
Red-amber color; big creamy head, nice lace. Huge hoppy aroma, American, fruity (mango, oranges), pure, like the old days; light sweat. Medium body strength, the caramel flavor is on the dry side, but with light residual sugars; the hops have oil and resins, less fruity character than the aroma, but very powerful. The final is not sweet enough for me, surely very bitter, getting drier. Oldschool hop juice, always pleasant.
