Bottled.
Smells like a pine forest. Quite like an American barley wine. Not too extreme, but the piney hops dominate totally. Clean, a bit oily.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours murky amber with some sediment and a huge white head that fades leaving a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is hoppy with hints of resin, pine, and citrus in addition to some caramel malt. Taste is hoppy with a decent amount of sweet malt to balance things out.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nocturne (140) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2012
Draught at Fermentoren. Orange amber with a yellowy head and lots of lacing. Aroma is quite unexpected: it has a lot of winter berries which I enjoyed. I guess this is a little like a hopped up amber ale. Slick caramel backbone and a good balance between sweet and bitter elements. Very nice.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JCB (3100) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 13, 2012
On tap at The Porter, Atlanta. Deep orange pour, semi-cloudy in the snifter. Medium head looks fairly creamy, with decent lacing around the glass. Nose is initially quite dry but soon yields some fruity, floral notes. Pleasant mouthfeel, full and smooth but with playful carbonation and a nice bite. Bittersweet and herbal notes meld well with buoyant fruits, and it’s a solid, well realized IPA overall.
