4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, - DEC 13, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2009 2009-04-18, bottle, 7-5-8-4-16=40 Golden color; very big head, compact. Nice hoppy aroma, fruity too, oranges. Very good toffee flavor, creamy; it has a strong hopping, dry, resiny; but it would be nicer if it had some more sweetness and fruits at the end. Very good.
2008-11-28, draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, 9-4-7-5-15=40 Hazy golden color. It has an impressive hop aroma, changing: pine needles, fruits, lemon, earthy and finally a lot of hop resins. It has a medium body, with toffee flavor, driven to the dry side by the hops, and just the minimum sweetness required for this beer; and on top of this, a giant hopping, extremely aromatic, with earthy resins (manure) and bitter oranges. If you like hop juices, this is excellent.

[5/12/12] Draught sample at Ølfestival København 2012. Hazy orange with a nice stable off-white head. Kinda resinous hops aroma, maybe a bit stale, with citric hints and some graininess. Flavor has some sweetish graininess, a bit of malt and a bitter, slightly grapefruity finish. Medium-bodied. So-so.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 LookMomNoHands (577) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2012
Sample from tap, CBF 2012. Never to early to start Christmas in May! Hazy, light amber colour with a white, small head. The aroma has pines, citrus hops, juniper berries and a vegetable note (a pleasant one!). Taste is medium to strong bitter. Medium to full bodied. Lots of pines in the dry finish. A really good IPA.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mortlach (433) - Rome, ITALY - MAR 11, 2012
17/12/2011 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Bevuta a Birre sotto l’albero 2011. Corpo medio-basso, carbonazione soft. Un po’ sottotono, peccato.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Kriegbaum (699) - Randers, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2011
Bottle 50 cl hazy golden yellow with a small fast diminishing white head. The aroma is beautiful and fresh citrus, grapefruit and floral-like hops with notes of malt and caramel. The taste bear the imprint of a well-hopped IPA with 70 IBU. Which lead to a dry and bitter taste and a very long aftertaste after the hops.
