3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Pours a beautiful clear nutty brown with a creamy beige head leaving laces. Sweet bubblegum aroma - not sure what the hop bill is here, but it’s not very dominant. Medium-bodied, rich and malty, sweet burned caramel, overripe fruit and nuts with a lightly bitter finish. An interesting and rather different beer from this brewer. Fortunately not ruined by British hops... 070412

De barril, chopp. Unclear deep amber colour with a medium off-white ehad, ok lacing. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, not too much, with toasty malt. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is fresh and pleasant, fruity hoppy, sweet like, with toasted malt and caramel along with a pleasant soft medium bitterness. Nice, good that it’s not more bitter than this.
