Tap @ Lord Nelson, Cph.
Pours deep ruby red with a lovely, staying, ceamy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, red berries, firm sweetness. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and rather dry mouthfeel. Flavour has soft toasted caramel, red berries, citrus, peach, almost a touch of chocolate in the finish. Lingering bitter as well. Nice.

De barril, chopp. Unclear deep amber colour with a medium off-white ehad, ok lacing. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, not too much, with toasty malt. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is fresh and pleasant, fruity hoppy, sweet like, with toasted malt and caramel along with a pleasant soft medium bitterness. Nice, good that it’s not more bitter than this.

Tap. The body is hazy and deep amber with a nice medium sized, creamy head that leaves a good lacing on the glas. Nose of citrus and caramel. Sweet flavor of citrus fruits, berries and caramel notes. Medium bodied, creamy to oily texture and soft carbonation. Ends up dry and pleasant bitter. Quite OK.

On tap. Pours a beautiful clear nutty brown with a creamy beige head leaving laces. Sweet bubblegum aroma - not sure what the hop bill is here, but it’s not very dominant. Medium-bodied, rich and malty, sweet burned caramel, overripe fruit and nuts with a lightly bitter finish. An interesting and rather different beer from this brewer. Fortunately not ruined by British hops... 070412

On tap at the Lord Nelson. Clear red brown beer. Good pale tan head. Soft and semi dry palate. Nice malt, a touch of dark character about it. Mild dark orange marmalade. Trace of apple. Finishes semi soft and dry. Not bad.
