COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A decadent stout, inspired by the special British ales exported to the Russian Court, during the 18th century. It is black and viscous like crude oil from the oil fields in the Caspian Sea. The flavor is dominated by dark notes of burnt sugar, spicy hops and smokiness from peaked malt. Unpasteurized * Unfiltered * Bottle-conditioned.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast.

Strong, smoky aroma has notes of molasses, yeast, caramel, coffee and licorice. Pours a rich sable just a whisker above night black with a thick, very persistent tan head that "pillows" as time goes by. Flavor is - superb. Smoky, molasses, roast malt, quality coffee, nutty, woody and caramel flavors battle for the attention of your taste buds. It has a surprisingly strong component of hop bitterness, rather sharp and green-woody, the only weakness in the otherwise outstanding taste. Smooth, firm texture has good fizz and leaves an oily, smoky, lip-smacking finish. OK, how does one say "cheers" in Russian?

Tap@ølhus københavn. Black. Soft roasty, slight vinous nose. Sweet salty, licorice, some salmiak. Wooden tones. Thick mouthfeel, close to porridgy. Smooth. Pretty assertive bitters though, leaves a clean finish. Roasty, woodsly. Roasty, again. Surprisingly easy tho. A sipper, but considering how much the liquid weights in the glass, the abv, i was half expecting a spoon to go with it. A roasty full stout.

Draught. Near black in color with a thick and creamy tan head. Salty fresh licorice, bit of herbal killepitsch vibes and notes of dark chocolate in aroma. Later on some dark chocolate mousse as well. Salty licorice in taste at first. Light biting spicy mouthfeel, otherwise quite smooth and well balanced. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Nice warming effect, which is appriceated on a cold winter day like this one. Roasted licoricy and some smoky notes in the end. Also some bitter hops. Not that complex, but instead really enjoyable and has an easy drinkability, could have a bunch of this one, just like to øl goliath.

Black colour with big and stable head. Nice lacing. Medium intensive aroma of chocolate, coffee and dried dark fruits. Taste is medium to heavy sweet, light to medium bitter and slightly sour. Well hidden alcohol (10% ABV). Flat carbonation. Medium to full body. Good stuff, but not outstanding.

Pullo @ Konttori. Kaatuu lasiin mustana, reunoilta hieman valoa läpäisevänä. Vaahto on noin kahden sormen paksuinen ja yllättävän vaalea IS:ksi. Ok IS, mutta hieman tylsä. Intensiivisyys puuttuu.

Purely opaque black with a huge tan head. The nose is well roasted with herbal and floral hops. A light anise/licorice flavour, coffee and dark choc. with big roasty notes. The finish is bitter and astringent with big roastd notes along with a warm boozy feel. Overall, better than the run of the mill Imperial Stout
