English: Belgian Strong ale finished with lactic acid bacteriae and matured on Danish red wine casks with sour cherries.

Bottle, much thanks to andersand. Aroma of yogurty cultures, tart-yogurt cherries, cherry pits, lots of oak/wood, lots of leather. Flavor has lots of tart cherry skins, and some sweeter cherry notes, sort of like a chocolate cherry dessert, decadent but not sugary. Other fruits creep in as well, peach, grape. Big leather/earthy notes as well, and some signs of malt, with a return to a yogurt-cherry finish. Mildly acidic. A touch of warmth on the finish. I really feel that each element of the beer is clearly defined yet meshes seamlessly with the others in a complex array of goodness.

Murky brownish red body. Exploded out of the bottle but no head after settling. The aroma is all tart cherries. Brown sugar in there as well. Mouth puckering finish. Lingering cherry flavor. The body is similar to the aroma but more brown sugar. Thanks Brad.

25 cl. Bottle. Pours out with a subtle bubbly reddish beige head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Muddy deep dark reddish color. Very complex aroma of heavy sour cherry, Red Wine, oak, yeast, barnyard. Over the palate came heavy malty and dried fruity notes with again yeast sourness and the feel of barnyard, rubber, horse blanket. Somewhere in there prunes, date, plums. What a combination. Full bodied with a soft carbonation and dry yet very drinkable smooth texture for 11%. Heavy sour flavor with good counter sweetness. Lingering sour cherry and Red Wine oaky dry finish. Wow what a masterpiece. Christian is defiantly back!

25cl bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours and deep amber with a reddish hew and a small collapsing white head. Nose is fantastic. Sour and sweet. Cherries, almond and wood. Palate is soft and medium full. Low carbonation. Nice vinousness and overall very well balanced. Tart, cherries, hints of vinegar, wood, almonds and caramel. Super nice!

(Bottled) Muddy dark red-amber with a small, partly lasting head. Strong cherry and vinegar aroma. Flavor of sour cherries, light acidity, but mostly smooth balsamico feel. Also some raspberry. Medium to full body with alcohol completely hidden, but nicely warming. Well made, enjoyable, balanced. Very nice.
