Poured an almost clear brown color with a thin off-white head. Tart aroma with notes of cherry, metalic, and light vinegar. Moderate amount of cherry in the flavor. Mildly sweet with a bitter alcohol finish. medium bodied.

Dirty dark red beer. Sour woody cherry nose. Dry crisp palate. Unsweet and slightly sour cherry with an edge of wood. Almost bitter not quite. An intense fruity beer but ultimately more interesting than inspiring.

Sampled @ SBWF 2011 on September 29. Pours a very hazy reddish brown colour with a small white head. Smell is complex and sour with vinegar, cherries and lightly burnt sugar. Taste is sweet with latex, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cherries, brown sugar and almonds. Lots going on that adds up to a nice sour.

Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2011. Murky brown, small head. Rubber aroma, sourish and sweetish. Rubber flavor, alcohol, sweetish.

Sample @ SBWF 2011. Pours murky redfish brown with a small rim of off white white head. Aroma is cherry bubbelgum tobacco horse stable sweet. Flavor is lean acidy sour cherry fruity bitterish. Finishes bitter sour and fruity.

Hazy brownish/red with a small head. Oak, cherries, wood. Sour of course, a good but not an excellent beer. But it was nice to finally try it.

Drunk to celebrate my rating number 22,000. Bottled. A murky dark red beer with a lazing red-tan head. The aroma has notes of wood, cherries, brettanomyces, and some acetone. The flavor is sour with strong notes of sour cherries, alcohol, wood, and brettanomyces, as well as medium notes of vanilla, prunes, and vinegar, leading to a dry, tart, and woody finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brownish color with a small off white head. The aroma is very vinous with tartness and notes of oak, almonds, cherries, brown sugar, vinegar, balsamic vinegar and dried dark fruits. The flavor follows the nose, with tartness, tart and sweet cherries, dried dark fruits, brown sugar, the balsamic vinegar, light dark caramel and almonds. The body is medium with a dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice interpretation of a Flemish Sour Ale.

Ruddy brownish/red pour. Aroma of cherries, light band-aid, toothpick. Flavor starts fruity then leads to light band aid and finishes sour.

Pours dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of brett and vinegar. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
