Bottle from Star Grocery. Pours light copper with an attractive beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor and a lot of hop bitterness even for an APA. Still quite tasty.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours light orange with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is floral/citrus and perhaps more. Med body. Flavor is floral/citrus/resin with some mild roasty malt. Finishes hoppy and bitter.

Aroma is biscuit malts, citrus and a hint of fruit. The flavor is citrus, malts, fruit and a mildly sour/very tart finish.

A - Hazy golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head. Fades normal. S - Sweet caramel and biscuit malts, grapefruit, citrus, floral, and pine hops. T - Sweet caramel and biscuit malts, grapefruit, citrus, floral, and pine hops, some lightly resiny bitterness. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a dry, bitter, lightly sweet finish. D - Nice APA. Good overall balance.

Bottle. Pours orange gold with white head. Nose and taste of grapefruit, tangerine rind, malt, mango, pineapple, citrus and hop juice. Lots of citrus. Medium body. Slightly dry finish.

Pours a bright orange-gold. Quite cloudy - some yeast may have kicked up as I was pouring, as there is definitely a good bit of lees in the bottles. Decent enough head. White and foamy. Moderate lacing. A very thin layer of bubbles remains after a couple minutes. Wonderfully hoppy aroma. Tangerines, pine, spruce, honeysuckle, lavender, raspberries. Lots of hop delicacy and complexity, but it tends towards those bright, sweet citrus tones - possibly Citra, but I’m bad at picking out specific varietals. A little bit of wheat spice, perhaps, and some pale malt sweetness in the background. Starts with a bright citric hop note. Hop flavor abounds on the palate. Lots of tangerine and orange hoppiness. The malt is definitely a background note and contributes just a touch of malt sweetness in the background. It’s a pretty dry APA, which is my preference for the style. Lasting hoppy finish. I’m left with a pleasant mouthful of pine needles and orange pith - sounds bad but meant in a good way. There’s just hop flavor throughout the beer. Little bitterness despite the light body and dried out malt. Great stuff. Mouthfeel is light and sudsy. Really dries out in the finish. Perhaps, a touch of hop oiliness. Very easy to drink. This is a delicious APA and another winner in the recent dry/pale malt/hop-forward trend for the style, a la Zombie Dust, Row 2/Hill 56, etc. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but that’s not really their fault. At any rate, this is a delicious beer.

(bottle 05/04-2013) large white fading head, clear yellow color, hoppy aroma, soft co2, slim body, low bitterness, hoppy aftertaste. BB date 09/07/14.

Botella. Presencia turbia de color dorado pálido con corona poco densa pero resistente hasta el final. Aroma cítrico y herbal con ligeros matices de levadura y maltas dulces. Sabor ligeramente carameloso que rápido pasa a lupulo resinoso y cítrico que inunda toda la boca. Con final ligeramente seco con algo de dulzor y mucha resina
