4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 OleR (4247) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2009
Sampled@Københavnske Øldage 2009 and enjoyed from tap@Lord Nelson, Kbh. A mostly diminishing dense white head upon a hazy, yellow golden body. Intense fruity and floral hop aroma. Loads of passion fruits and apricot, a superfresh fruit bomb! Also a whiff of fresh citrus, grass and faint evergreen. Taste is fairly dry and light to moderate malty. Bold fruity hop bitterness in the flavor as well, added by some more sharp and resinous bitter tones. Properly light-bodied. Utterly crisp in the mouth. Finishes on the bitter side, sharp fruity and light resinous. Deliciously fruity with high drinkability. The perfect summer treat.
