Bottle at Euston Tap thanks to Ken. Cloudy dark brown. Thick lasting beige head. Spicy hop Belgian Bit of oak or wood. Intense blackcurrant. I love the fruit and aroma but then dies a little but still close to the first Pannepot I ever had. As close to Caulier Pannepot 2005 I have had.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ekstedt (4593) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2010
Bottle (50 cl) from Bierkompass.de. I love the label of this beer. Otherwise, it was not that exciting. Weak belgian character, some malitiness with a roasted touch. Dry with boring salty bitterness.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Christian (9845) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2010
Near black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, banana, spice and vineous alcohol. Sweetish and full flavour with dark dried fruits, dark sugar, nuts and a touch of licorice. Balancing hops like those bad boys at the Westvleteren monastery also use
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ClubGonzo (2762) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 29, 2010
Bottle from Høkeren, Copenhagen. The body of this sinner’s beer is deep and murky brown, corresponding perfectly to a sinful soul. The aroma gives of dark malts, hints of licorice and raisins, but comes across as a tad bit faint all in all. Taste is however much more solid - a staple quad: dark malts, raisins, figs and dark candy sugars. Well-made but not outstanding in the genre, Malus Pater scores mostly (in my book) on the fantastically burlesque and humorous label, depicting some malevolent priest engaged in "extracurricular activities" with what appears to be a perhaps an altar boy. Wielding a beer from Beer Here in his hand, of course. Was this brew meant as a comment to the recent unraveling of sexual misconduct in the Catholic Church? Perhaps. I liked it, anyhow. :-)
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 oh6gdx (18799) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 27, 2010
Bottled@Beer Hunters, Pori. Quite much black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, raisins, liquorice, some ashes, alcohol and quite strong stuff. Flavour is toffee, sweet malts, some roasted and toasted notes mild grass, some caramel and nice. Pleasant, even though will probably win on aging it a bit.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 RasmusOtt (876) - Aalborg, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2010
pours a very dark prown with a small brown head. Stuff in here is a big malt profile, dark sweet dried fruits, caramel, yeast, spices and some fruits (I kinda got some banana thoughts). Reminded me alot of the Rochefort 10.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerisgoodforu (992) - Nørresundby, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2010
Bottle. Pours a very dark and murky red color with some brown notes and a smalll tan head. Aroma is of dark fruit, a general breadiness, yeast and some spice. Flavor is quite bready with bready notes that reminds me of rye bread, along with that i get alot of dark fruit like dades and figs, along with some brown sugar, alot of sweet maltiness, somekind of general berry note, yeast and spice. I like how well the 10% alcohol is hidden. The body is medium to full with a fairly dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice Quad!
