COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: In the Trappist monasteries an extra strong and good ale was brewed during the lent to keep the hunger at bar. The sweet drops on an empty stomach, combined with the much idle time occasionally led to less steadfast members of the order giving in to more earthly excesses. They went under the name "Malus Pater" - the bad father. With this ale inspired by the trappists you can now even do the same. And remember: God sees everything, but he doesn’t tell!

Bottle. Dark brown beer with medium dense brown head. Aroma with notes of licorice, sugar, malt. Taste strong, malt, licorice, sweet sugar. A fine beer but compared to the belgian trappiste quads it´s lacking a bit of complexeness.
