Bottle. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Burnt and roasted notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Candis notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Post CBC in the Hotel - ’Oh crap I have bought too many bottles again’! Hazy dark brown beer. Good off white head. Mild caramel malts. Not much rye spice, shame! A little chocolate. That’s it, were done!

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours a reddish brown with a small white head that slowly fades leaving some lacing. Aroma is malt, yeast, dark fruits, wet wood. Taste is malty and yeasty with a slightly bitter finish.

On tap at the porter. Fruity cherry aroma with a malt profile that is chewy grain. Spicey bite on the finish as you would expect from a rye.

Poured a reddish color with an off-white head. Aroma was floral notes with a touch of spice. Flavor was a touch rye, with some wheat notes. Hop character was good.

Pretty average beer here...... Ok, tons of rye but alas nothing else. Tastes like a glass of rye soda. Not bad but not good.

Clear deep ruby color, steady beige head, lace. Ryeish, smoked wet wood in the aroma, Medium-bodied. Caramel, wet wood, rye, alcohol, a bit smokey. Decent.

0.5 l bottle at Harry’s, Jyväskylä. Dark reddish brown color with thick head. Sweet aroma of toffee, nuts, pine, juniper and citrus. Bittersweet toffeish flavor with more pine and citrus. Full bodied. Not bad, but from the name and the high price I expected something more unusual, not just another strong hoppy beer.

Meh, been sitting on this for a while. Too much gummy rye flavors. Not much else, not really a beer. Too malty
