(Bottle). Aroma and taste of chocolate, heavily roasted burnt malt, some licorice and hops. Aftertaste i dry, burnt and with some bitter alcohol... too much burnt notes in the flavor for my liking!

[5/14/16] Draught at Taphouse in Copenhagen. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, licorice, alcohol. Flavor is sweet and bitter, a bit harsh, with licorice and dark fruit. Pretty full-bodied, boozy.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (10/05/2016) - pours black with a beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malty, with chocolate, coffee, caramel, cocoa, liquorice, solid hoppy backing, light vanilla nuance running through, good rich mouthfeel, great complexity, gorgeous.

Pitch black pour with a very nice espresso head that gives way to a thin lacing. Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and cherries. Bitter-sweet and perfectly balanced, with a very smooth mouthfeel and a chocolate bitter aftertaste. A world class Baltic porter.

Aroma full of coffee, chocolate, malt and hints of vanilla. Pours black with a great and solid tan head. Taste is coffee, bitter chocolate. Full bodied beer which feels oily and flat. Long after taste. Fabulous beer.

Tap@Taphouse. Pours dark brown with Brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, liquorice and hops. Taste is hoppy and dry, with roasted malt, a little coffee and liquorice, that ends in dry, hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. Sensoric. Pitch black with light brown, semi-densed head. Poor lacing and head retention. Definetely milk chocolate aroma, earthy, ashy also some light dry coffee aromas. Taste is semi-dry with some light bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, finish is semi-dry and dull. In general not the best baltic porter I’ve tried.

0,5 l bottle purchased at Systembolaget for 25 kr. Pours pitch black with medium level lacing. On the nose, malt, chocolate, and some coffee. Taste is a nicely combined mix of malt, chocolate and coffee. It has a well balanced, smooth feel with some bitterness in the end. A good porter I would recommend drinking at cellar or room temperature.
