Danish: Not everything is what it appears to be. This is a wheat beer – but not your average yeasty mess. No this kitten got claws.

Klasse. 0,2/Ca.4-5 Euro. Fass. 2tes BREMER BIERFEST 2016.

Tap, Henrik’s, Bergen, 27/10/14. Slim-necked opaque straw. Big juicy botanical aroma with lemon zest, gooseberry and spearmint: New World hop without a sniff of typical yeasty Belgian. Mint and zest, fresh botanical flavour with lemon oil and lean pale husk in the finish. Right in the Mallinsons ballpark. Ridiculous hop for a wheat. Bonus point.

Tap@københavn. Pale yellow, real hazy. Wheaty, light witty notes, strong citrus lemongrass. Super soft creamy body, nicely bittered. Tasty, refreshing, with a silky smooth texture.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2014 Wheat beer? On blind test i would guess its an IPA with quality hops. Nice beer but dont expect it to be a wheat enjoyment.

Bottle. Golden beer with a very strong white head. The aroma is mildly citric and yeasty with dryness. The flavour is very dry with good dulled lemony and yeastiness. Overall a nice dry and bitter wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, yellow colour with a blond and loose mid-sized foamy head. Fruity and slightly piney hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and grapefruit, backed by yeasty wheaty notes in the background. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malty and mildly wheaty base with present notes of citric and grapefruity hops; dry and bitter hoppy finish with fruity and mildly resiny notes, as well as a delicately malty sweetness, giving some balance. Okay, but not so far away from an APA. 30.IX.14
