Had at the brewery. Pours a rich golden with a good inch of whipped cream white head. The aroma is bready with some spice and grass notes. Flavour is grainy malts, some residual sweetness and a nice firm, but not excessive, hop bite from the combination of Tettnang and Saaz. Medium bodied and dangerously drinkable. Somewhere between a German and Czech pilsner, very good beer.

Keg @ Beer Hound. Gold with a small head. The nose is honeyed bread, biscuit, dry grass. The taste is super dry. Some pear, crackers. White bread. Slightly chalky on the moderately bitter finish. Light body, fine carb. Meh.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bready malts and herbal hops. The taste is a nice herbal hops bite with bready malts. Crisp and clean, medium bodied. Nice beer.
