2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Black color. Aroma of caramel and malt, dry taste with light sweetness. Too sour for the style, and has some unpleasant notes.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle sample at a tasting, thanks DSG. Hazy reddish-brown color. Aroma of toffee and cooked vegetables. Very sweet with caramel malty and toffee notes, diacetyl and other off-flavors. Not pleasant, something wrong with this beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap@brewpub. Schwarzbier, LOL. Brown mahogany, unfiltered. Weak roastedness, caramels on nose. Doughy house yeast. Soft, but bit astringent. Being by no means an expert on the style, but probably the weakest example of a schwarz I’ve seen. Brewed not to upset the lager drinkers too much. But even that said, probably the best of the bunch at this place. It must be that mystical coffee malt that does it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is sweet with butter and toffee. Also hints of berries and bready malt. Flavour has berries, malt, toffee, some caramel and hints of hay. Well, at least this differs a bit from their other brews.

Service duurde lang aan de bar in deze Estse brouwer/restaurant. Troebel donker met goed dun schuim. Ruikt lekker. Smaak is prima maar snel weg.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught @ Beer House, Tallinn. Darker brown coloured beer with some light carbonation and a medium but diminishing off white head. Sweeter light roasted malty hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is ssweet malty, slightly roasted and fruity. Not bad.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught. Dark cherry color. Small pinkish head stays firm ’til end. Looks absolutely fantastic. Not much of aroma, some malt and very faint caramel. Ooooooooooo. Mild mild roast, some caramelly sweetness, bit of yeast and voila- tastebuds explosion is not far away. Very well balanced. Light and very easy to drink. Creamy texture and smooth as silk. Another one please!
