2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Unfiltered, copper brown Märzen. Surprisingly thick head for its style. Somehow this beer is just too "dirty" for my taste. Furthermore, there seems to be some residuals of soap in the aftertaste, which hints that the glas was not properly washed before use. Note: Beer house is a large brewpub in the middle of the Tallinn Old Town.

Dark golden cloudy color with small head which stays for some time. Very light malty aroma, some yeast. A bit bitter flavor with some strange unpleasant aftertaste. Drinkable , but not very exciting.

On Tap @ the brewpub. The head is medium, the body a bit cloudy. The taste is a bit yeasty, fruity-sweet. In the aftertaste fruity-hoppy, and a bit dry. Nice 10/10/11/10/-/10

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Draught it the brew pub. Amber with white head. Slightly musty aroma and overwhelming flavor of Alka Seltzer. Not the worst beer I’ve had by any means, but pretty bad. (Rated 2011/04/26)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewpub. Dusted copper, white drum, lace specks. Negligible red apple and sesame-hinting aroma. Good sweet malt flavour; oily sesame, digestives. Lacks the richness and hop nuance of a marzen; some slightly damp English character on show. A little fizzy and lightweight, but tasty.
