Tap@brewpub. Hazy amber. Malts, bit dark bready this time, some grainyness too. And a honey vibe. Spft body. Doughy house flavour. Dried honey, dryish finish. Sweets in flavour though, caramels. Haven’t ever tasted a braggot I’d like, this is no exception.

Draught @ the brewpub
Aroma is sugary sweet with honey and some hay. Flavour is also rather sweet and somewhat malty with sugary notes and honey. Palate is too low on CO2 and feels a bit flat. Impossible to finish the glass.

The head is good, the body brown and cloudy. It smells malty, honey, dry, yeasty-natural. Taste is honey-dry, malty, bit bitter. Ok! 11/11/10/11/-/11

Bart (2940) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 23, 2013
Draught @ Beer House, Tallinn. Darker blond coloured beer with some medium carbonation and a small white head. Sweeter light spicy hinted aroma. Medium palate. Finish is sweet honey hinted with a rather strange light herby sweet honey ending. Not really my thing.

Light reddish color with minimal head. Almost no aroma. Sweet/sour honey taste with some yeast. Soft carbonation. Not very good, but drinkable.

Draught. Dark amber color. Tiny head. Not much of aroma. Malty and sweet. Some notes of hops. But where is this double promised honey?

Tap at Beer House. Hazy medium copper color with a thin head. Mild sour aroma of caramel. Sweet taste of malt with some honey

Deep amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is somewhat hoppy with a touch of noble hop character. There is a little bit of honey aroma with a touch of light sweetness. Some fairly toffeeish cooked caramel sweetness. The honey is there but not terribly apparent.

Draught at the brewpub. Almost clear amber, minimal head. Aroma of honey pastilles. Sweet and well rounded with creamy malt wrapped in honey. Low bitterness. A soothing unusally well made honey lager.

Murky bronze with copper edges and a slick of head. Marmalade, lemon rind and fresh hay aroma. Honey more on the roof of the mouth than in the flavour; some Lockets bitterness, malted milk biscuit finish. Too sweet and cornflake-accented (again) for my taste. Sugar tackiness on the lips. No major defects, but probably my least favourite of the Beer House samples.
