Draught@Beer House, Tallinn. Slightly cloudy golden color, white head. Sweet aroma with some strange spiciness. Malty flavor, relatively easy on the hops. The aftertaste lingers with some odd, hoppy notes. A curious pilsner, but it didn’t really get me hooked.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden pour with a very tight white head. The aroma is loaded with bright zesty noble hops. Hay and lemongrass with a bit of fruity character. Peppery and quite dry. A lovely pilsner - wasn’t expecting to find a tasty pilsner on this trip, but I’m glad I did.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy straw colour, small head. Distinct grassy hop aroma. Dry with crisp, fairly hard mouthfeel and light body. Grassy hops and bready malt. Marked bitterness. Too hard/clean malt to be nicely drinkable.

DruncanVeasey (5136) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2011
From a platter of samples at the brewpub, Clear brass with a slim white cap and lace curtains. Good pine sap, beeswax, light flowery hop aroma. Richer malts than the helles suggesting caramel and shortbread. Orange rind bitterness in an abrupt finish. Lightly toasted, peanut-like afters. Very decent.

Draught at the brewpub. It’s impressive how many varieties on a single theme these guys make. Slightly hazy golden colour. Honeyish nose, nice. Carrot (not as offensive to me as it usually is) on a soft malty background, slightly soapy. Meh.

(Draught at the brewpub) Poured pale golden and lightly hazy with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained butter and grass. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were butter, small amount of malts and very stinging acridness. Aftertaste was acrid.

Bottled (thanks TM). Yellow colour, slight haze and mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is smalty, a bit yeasty, grassy and slightly butterscotch as well. Flavour is being quite much the same. A rather nice and pleasant Pilsener from Estonia for once.
