Draught Beige, persistent head; black beer. Lightly smoked, very "thick" nose, bits of restsugars; pipetobacco and some chocolate. Very creamy-smooth with again just a light touch of smokiness. Toasted, slightly burnt cookies. Extremely smooth, nearly liquid velvet. And some body... Impressive, especially on the palate.

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2008 (Draught) Almost black with a small, beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malt, coffee and licorice. Smoothly roasted-malty, coffeeish flavor with licorice hints and reasonable bitterness. Slightly too color malty, but not bad. Medium to full body with almost no carbonation. A very pleasant and balanced brew.
