Draught@Ravintola Panimo, Pori (As Mufloni Balttiportteri). Dark brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, mild alcohol. liquorice as well as some lactic notes. Flavour is rather similar with a good body to it.

Aroma OK, though quite tight and narrow. Appearance quite perfect except the color of the head, which lacks color. Tastes watery, narrow taste spectrum, some roastedness, but otherwise quite artificial. Palate absolutely too light and waterish. Carbonation OK.

Pours pitch black color with a medium sized thick head. Aroma of malts, dark fruits, caramel and grain. Flavour of malts, grain, rye, some vegetable notes, mild sourish fruits and spices. Mild bitter palate with a sourish finish. Sadly a bit contaminated, could have been a very nice grainy brew.

Draught @ Naamat, Tampere as Mufloni Balttiportteri.
Pours a black colour with beige creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, sour berries and chocolate. Flavour of roasted malts, bitter chocolate, sour berries, caramel and birch leaves. Medium bodied, sticky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes sour, roasty, sweet and sticky. Without the sourness this would be great.

Very good baltic porter from Finland. Rich, malty taste with well balanced hoppy aftertaste.

Tap @ Ravintola Panimo, Pori as Mufloni Balttiportteri 14/03/13. Pours black with dark brown tinges. A big, thick, dark latte-colored head. Aroma is semisweet with coffee and roast. Light touch of vanilla and milk chocolate as well as salty liquorice. Taste is a lot chocolate with some vanilla. Roast and coffee is present as well, but not as strong as the vanilla and chocolate. Palate is fairly full and quite carbonated.

Rated 01/2013. Dark brown color, good creamy brownish head, lace. Sweet licorice in the nose. Medium-bodied. Lots of licorice, almost sweet-salty flavor. Some bitterness in the finish. Easy and tasty drink.

Dark brown, almost black colour with a small to average sized tan head.
Roasted malt, berries, mild notes of hops, some sweetness and milky sourness in the aroma. The flavour is roasted malt, dryness, mild hoppy bitterness, berries and mild sourness. Quite tasty Baltic Porter.

Draught at St Urho, Helsinki. Colour is black with massive brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Bread, alcohol, coffee, sweetness and roasted malts.

Pours pitch black with a massive foamy light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, sweetish notes, hints of licorice, syrup and white chocolate. Taste is sweetish, malty and roasty with hints of rye, licorice and coffee notes. Finish is roasty and burnt with hints of rye and chocolate. Okay, quite sweetish porter.
