(Draught at Pikkulintu) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma was very mild. There was some roastedness in the background but hardly anything else. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, burntness, mildly hops and bitternes. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. This quite watery porter. Especially the aroma was disappointing.

Big beige head. Opaque black body. Roasty resiny grapefruit roma with mineraly chocolate notes. Dry-sweet (and acidic) fruity taste with vinegary notes. Thin body. Sharpish, vinegary mouthfeel. Dry-sour earthy chocolate and vinegar aftertaste. Undrinkable. Infected. (0.33l bottle, Eat & Joy Kluuvi, Helsinki.)

Bottle 330ml. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ].

Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

Bottle 33 cl. Dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma liquorice and caramel. Roasted malts flavoured.

(Bottled, rated 2010-12-14) Murky, dark reddish with a small head. Dried fruit, some diacetyl, coffee and chocolate in the nose. Softly malty flavor with some rough roastedness. Thin for sure - but decent for a 4.5% beer, and almost medium-bodied. A quite balanced porter made at this ABV only for the stupid Finnish 4.7% limit.

A colabrown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is roasted, slightly sour ryebread, hint of liquirice and coffee. Taste is roasted, ryebread, overally taste is slightly biting and it would need more nuancees and strenght. Light body, more strenght body would support better to flavours. More flavour would be needed, now this beer is only roasted, light and simple beer without a unique touch.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Dark brown, small head. Slight cocoa aroma. Sweetish with clean, hard mouthfeel. Sharp with tin and milk chocolate powder. Low bitterness.

@ Oluthuone Leskinen. Dark brown porter in the pint. Roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Tasted fine both inside and out in the cold. ;)

Pours pitch black with a low head. Light aroma is roasted malts and lemon. Flavor is along the same lines, also a bit light. Decent.

Draught. Almost black, thin creamy head. Dry roasted nose, some charred bread and chocolate, a hint of dark fruitiness. Slightly nutty finish. Light, dry and slightly sour taste with a hint of bitterness in the finish. Light, not watery, soft texture.

Bottled (thanks TBone!). Deep brown colour, mediumsized brown head that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is a bunch of berries, mild toffee, some roasted malts as well as mild ashy notes. Flavour is caramel, some ashes, roasted malts as well as some mild spices and some wooden notes. Semidry palate.
