Oikein mukavaa hanasta juotavaa. Oltiin sopivasti Ausculton jengillä Tampereella. Hyvä kyllä.

Draught@HBF2011. Deep brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is toffee, mild roasted notes, some toast as well as mild nuttyness and some liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, some toffee, grass and mild sweetness. Pleasantly balanced.

Marstonlad (559) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 26, 2015
On tap at Ölhus Helsinki. Pours black with a medium-sized head. The aroma displays both roasty, espresso-style maltiness and piney hoppiness; fairly strong on both areas, yet balanced. Taste is dryish, fairly rich in roasty malty notes and bitter in the finish. Nicely hoppy for a stout, has similarities with Plevnan stout, the best Finnish beer in this category. Coffee, licorice and pine feature. The palate is medium to full bodied, low on carbobation and slightly creamy in texture. Quality ale.

mjs (5201) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 9, 2010
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2010 (Draught at Pikkulintu) The beer poured black with small and light brown head. Aroma had roasted malts, coffee and hops. Palate was full bodied. Flavours were hops, ash, roasted malts, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. The aroma and the taste of this beer have nothing new but still the combination is surprising in a pleasant way. This deserved another try..

(Draught@Pikkulintu) Interesting, fruity aroma hops in this, with licorice notes. Initially quite burned, but that went away rather quickly. Some sourness, black coffee. Quite nice and balanced - but like TBone said, this one "needs more studying". 5546

Tap @ Gastropub Nordic.
Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a foamy, thick, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour of dark roasted malts, hops, spices and even mango fruit. Full bodied with a round mouthfeel and a warming finish. Very smooth.

Black beer, creamy beige head. Sturdy aroma of slightly burned bread, licorice, coffee, dark fruits, and fresh fruity hops. Sweetish at first, drier in the finish with balanced bitterness, a hint of milk sugar and slight acidity. Soft, velvety texture. Great stout.

33 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 11.12.2010
Aroma is rather light with some roasted notes and coffee. Flavour is roasted and rich with coffee, licorice and hints of semi‐dark chocolate. Good!
