(Bottle at HBF2009) Dark reddish brown and cloudy. Small white head. Sweetnes, hops and pine in aroma. Full bodied and lightly oily palate with medium carbonation. Malts, sweetness, bitterness, pine, saltiness and resin in taste. Resin and malts in aftertaste.

Bottle on 17/07/09, ty Mika. Very dark ruby, huge and thick light beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, jammy red gooseberry, a lot of red currants, hints of pepper and soap, sweet lemony notes. Flavor is sweet and berry vinous, citric hops, little resin, caramel. Nicely balancing strong red grapefruit bitterness. Almost full bodied, soothing palate. Great berry/grapefruit mixture, has a slight aged Nogne #100 feel, though not as extreme.

330ml Bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2009) - Copper brown in colour. Hoppy aroma with hints of caramel and fruit. Bitter and fruity taste with some spicy malt hints.

0.33 l bottle at Helsinki Beer Festival 2009. Hazy brown color with small head. Thick aroma with toffee, sweaty and fruity hops, grapefruit and pineapple. Bittersweet, toffeish and yeasty flavor with sweaty and grapefruity hops. Thick sticky mouthfeel. This is too unfermented and yeasty. Also the hop character is too sweaty, not fresh.

Hazy red. Light grapefruit aroma. Sludgy palate, but the malt and hops in the body are otherwise more balanced than many other DIPAs. The hops are quite extreme, but pretty tasty in small doses. However, I got very bored of them pretty quickly. Fruitiness was nice though.

Dark hazy brown color, small off-white head. Fruity (pineapple, apple) and horseblankety aroma. Very sweet, sticky texture. Fruity flavor, a bit of wood, sweet tropical fruity-bitter hoppy finish. Has potential, now too sweet and yeasty.

Bottled@HBF2009. Hazy deep orangeish brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet cookies, fruits, alcohol, some toffee and nectar. Flavour is extremely sweet sugary fruity mess along with some grassyness in the finish.

(Bottled) Very muddy medium brown with a smallish, bubbly head. Mild aroma with some aromatic-flowery hops and caramely malt. Grainy-malty, somewhat homebrewish-gluey flavor with some hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body, low carbonation. Something like De Molen beers at their worst. Hides most of the alcohol, though, and could be better after the bottle had been kept still for a few days.
