(Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2008-12-09) Almost black. Small tan coloured head. Tar and smoke in nose. Full bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Tar, bitterness, whisky, fruitiness, sweetness, tar flavoured candy Tervaleijona and roastedness in taste. Bitterness and tar in aftertaste.

Keg - - Pikkulintu, Helsinki<br /> Almost black, thin tight beige head. Wooly and bacony aroma. Pretty roasty aroma too. Decent carbonation. Primarily a rich roasty taste. Finish is burnt, almost a bit ashy, and very long.

&#40;Draught@Pikkulintu&#41; Very dark reddish brown with a very small, beige head. Pleasantly smooth aroma with sweet ham smokiness and licorice. Roasted-malty, moderately smoky, sweetish flavor with herbs, and a burned-roasty finish. Medium body, slightly thin with lowish carbonation. Delicious aroma and nice flavor, but cries for more body.

(Draught@brewpub). Dark brown, almost opaque color,steady small espresso head. Aroma of smoke, wet wood and salted licorice. Medium bodied. Lots of, lots of fruity NZ hops and licorice. Dry mouthfeel with an impressive late smokey taste. Aftertaste comes with salted licorice and hoppy bitterness. Although this is not brewed with Bambergian malts, this tastes like Schlenkerla Urbock with extra hops added. Despite of being very hoppy and smokey, this "Bad Santa" is extremely drinkable.

Draught at brewpub. Nearly black, frothy mocha head. Smoky HP sauce aroma with wood, little dried fruits and liquorice. Dry and intense flavor, powder salmiak, strong smoke, herbs and wood. Very dry, mentholey “Super salmiakki” finish with good balancing hops. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, very easy drinking palate. Figuratively put, urbock flavors with märzen drinkability.
