0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 jrbj9 (2) - 8600 Butuan City, - JUL 1, 2005I currently live in the Philippines and am quite familiar with this beer. This is the beer of choice among the poor people living in remote jungle areas [honest, real slash and burn society]. This is the cheapest beer available in the Philippines and the native people usually mix it with a cheap Filipino wine when they drink it. Maybe there is a reason for that. Aroma, appearance, flavor and palate can all be summed up in two words: goat piss. I took one drink from the bottle and gave it to someone else. Then I bougt a bottle of Colt 45 just to get the beer na beer taste out of my mouth. The only real beer in the Philippines is San Miguel, which compares to Miller or Bud or Coors in America. SMB isn’t a bad beer and after a while you get used to the taste. No civilized human being could ever get used to drinking beer na beer.
