660ml bottle

Pours pitch black with a massive, foamy and light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, massive amount of hops and hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste is very roasty and hoppy with a lot of ashy tobacco notes and hints of espresso coffee and chocolate. Finish is very roasty and quite bitter with notes of licorice and coffee. Almost like an imperial black IPA. Nice, tasty and quite extremely hoppy, but I like this.

Bottle. Pours jet black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is hard roasted malt, liquorice, coffee, citrus and light smoke. The flavour is quite hoppy with notes of hard roasted malt, dark fruit, coffee and liquorice. Full bodied. Hardcore Impy Stout. Very nice!

Black colour, tan head. Smell of malts, dried fruits, light sour, caramel, loads of roasted malts. Flavour of roasted malts, coffee, hops and ash. Finish is light sweet and bitter coffee. Overall a big smack in the face. And the 333th rating of the beer. Just my kind of humour.

66 cl bottle - pours deep brown with a beige head. Nose of coffee and roasted malt. Taste is too much on the bitter side which makes the beer not balanced at all.

650ml bottle I brought @ ZZT III. Pitch black color, medium to full creamy light brown head. Smell malts, dark malts, roastyness, caramel. Taste malts, dark malts, roasted malts, alcohol, coffee, bitter, lightly hops. Nice mouthfeel, suitable carbo, full body.

Bottle thx to benzai@zzt3. Pitch black, opague with a nice off-white head. Smells malts, roasty, coffee and hops. Tastes sweet, coffee, roasty, chocolate and hoppy. Full, thick palate with a nice carbo.

Medium, slightly irregular, foxy cream-to-tan head over black beer. Intense roasted aroma, chocolate biscuits, cigarette ashes, coffee dregs. Outspoken burnt/roasted flavour, with an intense spirit-like finish. Finish has further a hint at peperkoek sweetness, and liquorice retronasal. Sharp, burning MF, alcohol strenghtening. Warming up, first a peppery impression, later serious hints at coriander. All subtlety carefully avoided. Go for the brutal punch!

dark cola and settled black. Huge 3 finger head that left wonderful lacing. Big hop nose. Along with chocolate, malt, coffee and some char. Pine, chocolate, tobacco, burnt rubber, malt taste. Medium bodied, slightly oily and low carbonation. Thought a big Euro style IS with a lot of hops. Nothing ground breaking but a good IS.

Pours an opaque black with really nice head. Leaves lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is strong hops but earthy and not overpowering. Taste is black malt and chocolate covered by hop bitterness. Finish is dry. I’m not a hophead, but this beer is actually well balanced considering the hop content.
