Light pecan head dissipates quickly, decent lace, body opaque black/brown. aroma vanilla, cider, citrus. Flavor smoke, cider, caramel, dark chocolate, faint grapefruit. Medium carbonation, average body for an imperial stout. Finish is bitter sweet with a hint of grapefruit

Bottle from Total Wine, Vegas. Whoa, huge flavour. Pours thick black with a massive brown head. Head remains at 1cm through half a glass. Malty, hoppy, chocolate, finishes boozy, hoppy, metallic. This is an over-the-top beer, just as it claims to be. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Tap 25. It pours dark brown/black with a small brown head. The aroma has lots of fudge and chocolate chip cookies. Hints of coffee. The flavor is very dirty and heavily roasted with freshly turned soil and dark bitter chocolate. Wow. Super ashy in the finish with a huge body. This stuff is beastly. Perhaps a bit over the top with the black malts.

Massive roastiness, tonne of hops- at first I thought it was at odds but it came together pretty well. Bit challenging though

Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours dark with a big creamy tanned head. Aroma is malty, roasted malts and coffee, with good presence of liquorice and tar. Taste is smooth, coffee and liquorice, lingering dark liquorice, very good

Flaske på RB samling hjemme (takk til Odd Gunnar): godt røstet kaffearoma. Fint men kort skum. Ganen fylles opp av bitter og syrlig kaffesmak, dristig humlebruk og en maltkropp som fyller ut i svingene. et øl for gutter&piger med hår på brystet.

FROM NOTES: June 28, ’12 Bomber poured into a tulip A: Baking chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and hops. Grapefruit on the nose to this. A: Poured a dark color and settled black with a huge, three finger light brown head. Great body and shape to the head. Slowly worked to a thick collar. Left all sorts of nice lacing. T: Lots of hops, followed by chocolate and coffee. P: Medium bodied and light carbonation. Pretty straight forward really. Hops calm down in the feel and get more of the roast and chocolate. O: A massively hopped imperial stout.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours dark brown with a decent tan head and a dark chocolate and treacle aroma. There is a full-bodied dark molasses flavor with some licorice, coffee and a balancing hop finish.
