3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours brownish amber with a creamy beige head. Mild malt aroma - hint of chocolate. Med body. Foamy carb. Flavor is that brown malt with chocolate that seems to be the thing about milds. Gets a little nutty toward the end. Seems a bit more flavorful than some English versions, but I think our cousins would recognize it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of ditmier. The bomber pours copper with some haze and a white head. The aroma is roasty and earthy and also carries a bit of spice. The taste is roasty and sweet malts up front and then moving toward notes of earthiness and mild dark fruity esters. Nice full flavored mild.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
22. Pours a crystal clear dark amber with a towering, pocked, fluffy off-white head. Decent eggy lacing on the way down. Nice toasty, pecan-like nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb, but not too much of it, really. Nutty, toasty mid-palate that seems to offer mostly the flavor of dry leaves. Earthy finish. Pleasant notes that are prominent on the american ale spectrum--the toast, the earth, the leaves. But it’s all so held back, so thwarted. Good flavor for 4%, but that’s world’s tallest midget territory. It’s not watery, exactly, but everything seems to be watered down. Nothing wrong with it, but hard to get excited about.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Deep caramel, nearly brown, moderate foamy off-white head, decent lacing.   Soft biscuity nose, smidgen of wet cardboard, low hops.   Soft malty start, biscuit is there but a little watery.   Mild sweetness, but does come across as a little wet cardboard.   Maybe that’s the style.   Yeah, comes across as a real pale Brown Ale.   Quick finish.   Decent, but not really my thing.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hell yeah mild ale! This stuff is great! Nose is toasty, lightly grainy, bready, and earthy. It sounds bland, but it is assertively aromatic and pleasing. Pours golden amber with great head retention and light lace. This stuff tastes great. Toasty, bready, earthy, lightly sweet. Crisp earthy hops. Clean, super drinkable with a nice light dryness in the finish. I like this stuff a lot! Fuck yeah hoes, I am giving it a 5 in palate, because the flavor is assertive enough to interest me and I could still probably drink about 120 oz of this stuff and still accomplish remedial tasks such as playing video games, watching television, and going out in public with a remote amount of efficiency and effectiveness.

22 ounce bottle from the Boise Co-op. Pours a clear mahogany color with a small white head. A light toasted, nutty nose, some caramel and light fruit. The flavor is dry, toasted, some nutty flavors and light fruit. A nice zesty carbonation. Musty and dry. Quite nice.
