UPDATED: DEC 17, 2008 Bomber from Del Cerro. Dark amber orange in color on the pour. Strong hoppy nose with some sweetness. Fairly pungent. Bitter flavors up front, pretty much bitter throughout. Very nice hopped up brew.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. The beer was drank fresh sometime last fall.
The beer pours a yellow-gold color with a large white head. The aroma has quite a bit of juicy orange citrus, with some pine and a little bit of biscuit malt. The flavor is a little bit different. Up front I get a ton of orange and resin notes, with a medium amount of bitterness. There is also some bread from the malt. Overall, the beer is very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 marcus (4050) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Bottle shared by beerboxer. Pours cloudy golden with a massive off-white head and a light grassy aroma. There is a dry caramel malt flavor with a lots of citric bitterness that sticks to the palate.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 johnnnniee (992) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 22, 2011
Bottle given to me by my friend Bruce, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head that displays mad retention and lace. The aroma drips with hop juice, pine resin citrus they are all here. Faint malty background of bread and caramel barely pokes through. The flavor gives off more malt than I would have thought from the aroma. The hops are still here in full force but there is more bready malt than I expected. Medium body and carbonation level, sweet resinous sticky mouthfeel. Really good fresh hop ale to bad its brewed so far away and not easily obtainable.

Bomber. Labeled as 2011 Fresh Hop Edition. A very good strong hoppy brew. Definently has the fresh hop taste. not much sweet and just a bit of citrus. Great bitter finish that lingers.

Had the pleasure of trying this on draft down at Belmont Station last harvest season. Citrusy, earthy, dry, yet extremely resiny all at once. Nice fresh characteristic going through the whole palate. Beautifully bittered through the finish. Tasty goodness!

Bomber... Poured golden/orange with a thick, foamy, white head. The hops were very resinous here, lots of peppery spices, pine, dirt, earthy. Mild malt grain balance, but a beautiful showcase for the hops. And for 9%, the alcohol is well masked. Also, hints of apricots, citrus, and honeydew that created a nice, light fruit sweetness.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 argo0 (9222) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 10, 2010
22oz bottle, 2010 edition. Medium, rocky off-white head atop cloudy amber body, some suspended particulate. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some orange. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit/pine, light orange. Soft medium body, light alcohol harshness, but still hides the alcohol extremely well, resulting in a surprisingly drinkable 9% beer. Not used to the level of hop intensity from a fresh hop beer, no orange softness here, but then again, not sure I’ve had an Imperial fresh hop beer.

Pours excitably, definately cloudy from bottle fermenting and conditioning...Citrus and grassy notes, slightly burnt hop note...though major grapefruit notes are not that present, or hidden...resin character and perhaps a hint of botanicals like juniper/pine/spruce..great vivid mouth feel on mid palate going into super long finish
4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 brenn79 (922) - Idaho, USA - OCT 23, 2010
22 oz. bottle- Pours golden with a nice head and lacework, aroma is fresh hops, citrusy, floral, exactly the aroma I like in my IPA’s. The flavor is similar, citrusy goodness, with some pine added in. There is also a nice light fruity malty sweetness that is not overbearing, carbonation is medium, body is medium, alcohol is present but not too strong, everything is very well balanced. Its been a while since I had a good double/imperial IPA, and this one delivered.
