Bomber pours a cloudy light orange haze. Purchased at Portland’s Whole Foods. Nice combination of bready malt with biting hops on top. This pale ale tops 98% of the competition - I cannot think of a single east coast competitor that trounces this except for Victory’s offering, I would go for a "pick 6" and score! on this one. Very well done.

Bomber pours clear gold with slightly rocky tall light tan head. The aroma offers up spicy hops, sugar sweet malts and a touch of hoppy earthiness. The taste is similar with sweet sugary malts mixing with the spicy and faintly earthy hops. The hops grow a bit in bitterness midway and into the finish.

Bottle, shared with JJ. Light amber gold, hazy, with a huge lasting white head. Aroma is sweet malts with a nice citrus hop dominance. Palate has sweet malt (golden syrup) supporting a nice fresh citrus hop character with a medium bitter finish. Solid.

Tap at Collins Pub. Crisp amber with thick foam. Light fruity hop scent. Interesting flavour! A praline coating on chewy bread and strong hops. Well balanced. A little mediciny in the aftertaste. Drinks like hoppy water.

Light bronze amber with thin head. Bitter floral aroma with some citrusyness. Bitter citrusy body with a honeyed finish. A pleasant harmony of bitter and sweet. Medium to think bodied. An easy drinker in the British bitter style.

Light amber color. Lots of caramel malt and citrus hops going on.Fairly full bodied for a pale ale. Decent, but hardly particularly memorable.

Nose is floral with some bready malts, some pale malts and light citrus. Pours golden with a soft head. The flavor is bready and pale malty with notes of floral hops, light citrus. Starts pleasant, but the finish ends up aspiriny and lightly vegetal. That kills it for me.

Cask at Horse Brass. Some haters here. I thought this was a somewhat malty and tasty pale ale. Hops. Nice head. Good flavor. Very enjoyable.
