3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Marc (485) - Yokosuka, JAPAN - SEP 2, 2002
This one was very interesting. Thin clean grain with a wisp of perfumed hops in the nose with a brilliant sparkling gold color, first sips seem flavorless. No sugar what so ever gives this interesting beer a razor sharp dryness witch allows for apreciation of delicate maltiness, a fragile hop bitterness, and the slightest of hints of summer fruits. No aftertaste with a cleansing seltzer like finish. Not for everyone but an enjoyablae experiment in sudlty.

On tap at the Salem Beer Works. Yellow, yellow, yellow color with a thin head. The beer itself is ok, but there’s a wonderful, fully malty aftertaste that slides into your senses long after the sip is gone.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ClarkVV (3578) - Allston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 29, 2005
On tap at BeerWorks Fenway, 7/2/2005. Listed as "Millar Lite" but I can’t imagine that was much different than their generic brewpub light lager. Appears a golden-straw, very light-toned, with a lightly foamy/bubbly film on the top. Moderate amount of bubbles rising. Aroma has some light soap and sugar, hints of lager yeast and a touch of sweet corn. Flavor begins with a clean, dry pale malt, not exactly honey-sweet, but decidedly clean and inoffensive. Body, for a light lager, was respectable, being crisp and refreshing, not heavy or sluggish and not overcarbonated. Little variation from sip to sip, but no stale or adjuncty flavors on the finish. Perhaps a bit of salt and seltzer water suggestions, but mainly just pale grains. No one expected much out of this one, but everyone was impressed. But then, I knew Jodie is a talented brewer, so I’m not surprised afterall. Why don’t they just call it Mueller Lite?

Pretty much right down the middle light beer. This pale ale offers the basic aromas and palate of malt and hops. The finish is crisp.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 23, 2004
Sampled this during World Series Game 1, across from Fenway. Aroma is like white wine. A pretty drinkable round, but certainly not heavy. I like it, for a low carber.
