2010 Tap at Salem Beer Works in Salem, MA. This is a shocking beer, simply because it tastes and looks like coffee...not beer. The malts are basically unnoticeable and the carbonation is practically non-existent. Some sweetness comes from those malts and the mouthfeel is lightly creamy, which gives the sense of coffee with sugar and cream. Enjoyable and interesting. I’ve never had anything like this before.
