3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2003 Cask conditioned : Copper pour, with a small but creamy white head, leaving lace all the way down. Pretty much all hops in this brew - Hops on the nose, hops on the tongue, and hop bitterness sticking around afterwards. Not much malt to be found through all the hops...but that isn't a bad thing in my eyes.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Retains a nice head. Golden color, lighter than average. Harsh, strongly bitter. An IPA, no doubt, but not the most sophisticated interpretation.

3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
A weak but very pleasant hops aroma. Golden red amber with nice white lacing head. Medium body and carb. Really nice bitterness. Awesome hops and weak malt flavor. Bitter finish and after. Very refreshing. Once I tried this, I stuck with it for the rest of the evening. A really nice IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not a bad thirst quencher but this is what happens when you brew an IPA without sufficent malt character. This brew has plenty of bold hops but lacks the malt to balance the hop assualt. A little more malt character and this could be a fine beer but without it its merely average.
