COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hop lover’s delight, this American India Pale Ale is brewed with over 1.5 lbs. of hops per barrel. As with all IPAs, this beer is higher in alcohol, hop aroma and bitterness than regular pale ales, and you don’t have to sail to India to enjoy it.

Draft at brewpub awhile back. Pours light orange with white head. Nose/taste of grapefruit, caramel malt and resinous pine. Medium body.

Heavy aroma of grapefruit, pines notes also. Copper shade. Maybe 60 BUs, not too bitter, though it’s rough with chipotle. It’s been around the world, from Hartford to Back Bay.

Golden body with white head. Subtle hop smell I would like to be more prevalent. Taste is a clean bittering hop that finishes smooth. Very solid

Very solid IPA here. Great hoppy taste, nice bitterness, medium bodied, finishes crisp and clean. Tasty

tap - This brew has a mild caramel malt aroma and a white head that laces well. There’s a good bitter hop flavor with citrus notes that’s not terribly complicated but is very tasty. It’s medium bodied and enjoyable.

Little cloudy dark golden to orange beer, small yellowish head, fairly stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of marijuana first, piny resin, bit grassy, some fruity touches. MF: ok carbon, mediium body. Taste: bit fruity, resin, bitter hops, citrus fruits, herbal. Aftertaste: bitter hops, bit malty. Lacks some body and malt sweetness, I find.

A: The beer pours a clear, light amber color with a thick white head. S: Definitely a pungent hop aroma. There is a nice herbal note with some citrus peel and plenty of pine. Quite a bit of grapefruit and a very resinous note to it overall. T: Moderate bitterness with plenty of pine and herbal hops. Maybe not quite as much in terms of citrus hops, though there is a nice grapefruit and some hints of fruit. M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. O: A well done IPA with good hop character all around.

IPA that holds up well, not overpowering, hops are mild but not too mild, goes down easy, smooth, great summer beer, a bit lacking in flavor but makes up for this in drinkability. Solid IPA worth trying

Enjoyed on tap at the Lowell beer works location. Poured a fairly clear deep golden color with a tightly bubbled off white head that slowly receded to form a cap on top. Smells of citrus and grapefruit with a caramel malty backbone. Pleasant aroma for an old school style "C" hops based ipa. Taste is what I expected, citrus and grapefruit bitterness in front of caramel and toffee malt. Long lingering citrus bite in the finish. Medium body and carbonation level, resinous sticky mouthfeel. Very clean ipa probably my favorite beer of the night.

Probably a new entry, served at Beer Works Salem on Cask, "dry hoppeed with citra." Whatever.... Pour was orange in color, lacing was solid and almost continuous. Aroma of strong citrus and grapefruit as well as pine. The flavor followed, strong ripe citrus rinds with a great pine balance too. Mouthfeel was medium to full, ok carbonation level.
