On tap at the source in Lowell. Pours a solid dark brown with a stingy off white head that was almost totally gone before the glass arrived at my table. Smells of caramel and toffee with a hint of chocolate and a smattering of earthy English hops. Smell is pretty good. Taste is malty caramel and toffee with a hint of diacetyl. There is an earthy, mineral bite towards the finish that builds with each sip and really ruined this one for me. Medium body and carbonation with a sweet slick mouthfeel. Somethings off in the taste here, I wouldn’t order this one again.

For a nut brown, this is relatively tasteless. Pretty in color. Good head. Smooth on the tounge, but boring.
