Pours a beautiful clear golden yellow with a thick pale buff head. Malty aroma has a strong fruity overtone with hints of yeast and a bit of wax. Fruity flavor is mainly pear with apple and banana notes, plus hints of malt and butterscotch. Mouthfeel is firm and fairly fizzy. Smarter than the average blonde (tee hee!)

A: The beer pours a pale amber color with a dense white head. S: Lots of spicy phenols with a lot of white pepper and clove on the nose. A bit of banana as well as some sweet pear and apple. The more typical malt aromas such as bread and toast. T: As with the aroma, heavy on the pepper and clove notes. There is a more subtle pear and banana flavor and an even fainter apple note. Some yeast to go with the bread and maybe a hint of graham cracker. M: Medium body and medium carbonation. O: Pretty standard Belgian pale. Nothing great about it, but nothing awful either.
