Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber color with thin off white head that dissipated quickly. Biscuity malt aroma with a touch of sprucy hops. Dry on the tongue and a bit spicy. Nice malty caramel flavor. Decent red.

Pours slightly hazed deep copper into a shaker. Off-white micro head quickly recedes to skim surface. Tangy tropical fruit and nutty caramel aromas. Crisp caramel upfront turning bready in the middle before a medium length slightly bitter astringent resin finish.

On tap at the brewpub, listed as Red Victory: Clear orange/red with a small white head, light malts in the aroma, watery mouthfeel with light carbonation, starts and ends lightly bitter. I may have rated this too highly as I was so happy not to be drinking the iced tea beer.
Earlier Rating: 1/5/2004 Total Score: 3.6
On tap in Salem: Orange amber color with no head. Biscuity aroma, huge grainy taste, full bodied. Slight sweet ending.
