Earlier Rating: 3/19/2006 Total Score: 3.3 on tap-pours a white head with amber color. Aroma is hops, malt, sweet. Taste follows with a roastiness. Good effervescence. Nuffield (2536), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Sep 10, 2002 Very hoppy with less bitterness than the IPA. Nice. The "redness" may be overstated. Volgon (2458), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA May 10, 2005 On tap at the brewpub, listed as Red Victory: Clear orange/red with a small white head, light malts in the aroma, watery mouthfeel with light carbonation, starts and ends lightly bitter. I may have rated this too highly as I was so happy not to be drinking the iced tea beer. Earlier Rating: 1/5/2004 Total Score: 3.6 On tap in Salem: Orange amber color with no head. Biscuity aroma, huge grainy taste, full bodied. Slight sweet ending. General_Gao (2434), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Oct 8, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber color with thin off white head that dissipated quickly. Biscuity malt aroma with a touch of sprucy hops. Dry on the tongue and a bit spicy. Nice malty caramel flavor. Decent red.
