12oz bottle. Surprised to see this being sold in the bottle at Julio’s. Tastes much like I remember from tasing it at the brewpub. A mild ale with not alot of character but does it goes down easy and makes for a good session beer.

If this is "american brewing renaissance " we are in trouble. Tastes like a skinny killians. Red body with no head. Kind of an off caramel smell and not so great taste.

An orange copper ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, light butterscotch malt with light sulfur notes. In mouth, a butterscotch malt with an oily mouthfeel, faint German hops, boring. On tap at BBW Airport, Oct. 10 2011.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops and malt. Poured copper in color with a small, off-white/tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Sweet malt finish.

A so so Amber Ale (Red Ale). Got a 6 pack for the night after dining at Salem Beer Works restaurant. Drank 3 or 4 of them, as well as some Guinness. Did not feel so well in the morning. :(

Tasted from a bottle that was given to me as an extra in a trade. Pours deep clear amber with a frothy tan head that has real staying power. Nose is a fairly boring caramel and nutty malt with a hint of aromatic bitter hops. The flavors are a little more prevalent with caramel malt, some dough yeast, and just the right amount of hops flavor. The body is light with an oily texture, average carbonation, and a medium but sticky finish of caramel malt.

Bottled version. Nice looking deep amber color with good carbonation and head retention. Aroma is sweet. Flavor is very malty on the sweet side. Could use a bit more hop balance, but otherwise this is fairly good.

Pours a deep dark rust color. Smells heavily of roasted malts with hints of coffee. Rich malty flavor with a slight bitterness. Mild astringency and a slight metalic taste.

On draught at Fenway brewpub. Comes a clear amber with a decent biege head. Aroma of caramel malt. Tastes of sweet malt with just a touch of citrus hops. Nice experience.

Pours slightly hazed deep copper into a shaker. Off-white micro head quickly recedes to skim surface. Tangy tropical fruit and nutty caramel aromas. Crisp caramel upfront turning bready in the middle before a medium length slightly bitter astringent resin finish.
