tap at Canal St. location - This hazy gold brew has a good banana rich aroma. The flavor is sweet with ample banana notes and a touch of spice. It’s light to medium bodied. Fairly good.

4th August 2011 GBBF. Cask. Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Smooth palate. Sweetish orange wheat with a trace of caramel. Some wheaty malt. Fairly dry finish. Not bad.

Gravicask at USA Cask Ale Bar, GBBF’11, one-third pint, 7% abv. Very cloudy, almost murky, golden body. Dotted spots on the glassware. Aroma of ripe banana. Banana, clove and doughy wheat in flavour. Medium bodied. Alright, but a tad too sweet (London, 04.08.2011).

Had this in Boston, thought it was excellent, nice wheat flavor, dark orange color, sweet, sort of like a hefe but more on the wheat side. Plenty of flavor and very drinkable, worth trying for sure

Murky matt medium grey orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to light heavy yeasty, fruity, buttery, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, yeasty, butter, fruity, banana yeast. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat. [20110804]

Sweet bananaey aroma, very weizenbocky, a touch buttery too, but only to the same extent you’d get in an authentic German example. Full smooth palate. Sweet bananaey body, some bite of bitter hops too. Sweet toffee, like sahti. Finish has gentle fresh leafy hop buds. Nice.

Cask @ GBBF 2011. A hazy yellow/golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of sweet fruits with some vanilla. The taste of sweet fruits and bananas, flat. A little bitter and butter. The aftertaste is flat with a little bitter.
