Draft at the Fenway Brewpub - Poured a light yellow in color with a medium white (except for the blueberry stain) head. Blueberries were frozen and kept floating up and down the glass ans they thawed... nice visual. Aroma was overpoweringly blueberry with a hint of hops in the background. Flavor is also pretty blueberry, but there is an underlying flavor of beer with plenty of hops. Very interesting... not sure that I would have again, but I enjoyed this one!

Draught at the Fenway location. Just a very average pale ale that has blueberries tossed in it. The natural flavouring good better over time as the blueberries soaked in, but the beer got rather onerous. Middle of the road all things considered but an interesting idea. Start the whole process with a better ale base and you’ve got yourself a big winner here.

On tap at brew put. Took two visits to get up the courage to try this one. It is not just a sweet fruit beer. It is a great drinkable light beer. Is is a lager? And the big blueberries are just an added treat.

This is a very good blueberry ale that you can only get in Boston (at least I think so, I haven’t seen it anywhere else). Everytime I go to Boston I make sure I stop here to get a glass of this. It has a good strong ale taste, but the blueberry’s they put in it give it a nice sweet balance. Because of the carbonation in it, the blueberries are always floating to the top and then to the bottom. I love this beer.

Tap at Fenway. Pours a wierd violet tinged golden with a thin head that diminishes- they threw in some blueberries into the glass. Aroma is like a fesh baked blueberry muffin at first, but then it goes south- tons of solvent and fruity high ferm temp esters. Flavor is artificial like, crackery and reminded me of some fake cereal like frankenberry or fruit loops. Harsh astringent and solventy finish.
