Pours with a mild haze to an otherwise straw colored beer. Not much head and it dies to a thin rim of bubbles along the glass. Almost no lace Slightly sour smell with some definitive blueberry aroma. Little else to the nose. More sourness on the tongue. I also detect biting ginger. It has the body of a pilsner with a corresponding crispness. This is flavorful but not that special.

Had this on tap at Boston Logan Airport. It is hoppy on the nose. A good light amber color and long lasting head. High carbonation. Light in the mouth but good flavor. Served with whole blueberries. F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Tap) clear, bright pale yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of blueberries, light, balanced flavour with a long, very light bitter and tart finish

Pours a pretty clear golden with actual blueberries floating (added after pouring without asking us first, weird) and a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of fresh, real blueberries. Taste is of blueberries and not too sweet with some light cereal flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Overall a good blueberry beer, adding blueberries to the glass was a bit ridiculous though.

on tap on the premises - canal st. boston. whole blueberry floater alert - ridiculous. unclear pale golden with a dirty purple head, pink lacing. obvious blueberries, never artificial, boring honeyed maltiness, herbal blandness, hint of sweetness - floral (blueberry) honey, minerals. moderate carbonation, light body, semi-sweet fruity and bland herbal finish. aside whole blueberries in my glass (jeez), it is a decent slightly sweet blueberry offering.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head, and comes garnished with blueberries in the glass. Berry sweet base, with mild pale malts, low bitterness, and a relatively moderately sweet finish. Not overdone, and the blueberry notes come across relatively fresh. Pretty good. I’m fine with the floating blueberry gimmick too. They look pretty awesome floating up and down like they do.

Draft at Canal St location. The beer has a slight purple hue in a mostly clear gold liquid. I used to drink this when I first moved to New England in 2002.

It doesn’t do anything for me know but it is drinkable. If you order a full pint the bartender puts a spoon and a half of blueberries in the glass and really that is we’re all the flavor comes from. The base itself is a thin lager with a light lager yeast finish. Well the women folk sure like it come summertime but... Nothing major to report here.

Has real blueberries floating in there going up and down with the co2, neat asthetic impressions. Has a slight metallic aroma about it and lacks any real blueberry smells. Taste is somewhat bitter from the onset and the fruit is a little difficult to find with the buds. However, that real blueberry thing makes the fruit happen when you shew them up with the beer. Yes, the finish is a little less than your average fruit beer but a pretty good ioverall experience.

"best of the three we had from BBW. aroma and flavor of fresh blueberry. not much else, which is usually the problem with the average fruit beer. straw colored lite beer with fruit added. maybe a hint of softness in the feel from some wheat malt? definitely a "girlie" beer, but refreshing, and kudos for not tasting artificial."
