2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - FEB 17, 2011
Pours hazy amber with little head. Bold sour aroma. Cheery is very strong on the nose. Flavour is offensive like vold dried out bubble gum. And fence stain. I was expecting wcked and have been slapped with offensive and industrial metallic tasting shit. Its not minty but it Tastes like toothpaste. If that makes sense.

Bottle, thanks to fata2683, Cheers Keith! Pours clear pinkish red, thin white head, poor lacing. Nose is light funk, light cherries, more maraschino cherry than anything else. Flavours are cherries, but with an odd paint-stripper/varsol component that doesn’t complement anything at all. This isn’t brett, this isn’t funk, this is an odd chemically mess... Sorry Keith, but I don’t dig this one at all, I love me Kriek, and I love me West Flanders Cherry-based sours, but I loathe this.

bottle purchased at the Fenway location, pours a very lively pinkish red with a medium to tall white head. Aroma is subtle cherry, oak, wild yeast funk, some soft strawberry as well......I’m hoping this doesn’t disappoint, smells lovely. Grassy upfront and there is a underlying sweet cherry tone that fades as the sourness comes in. This is more on the mellow side for a lambic, not acidic or vinegary at all, more mellow tart cherry skin and crisp sharp carbonation on the tounge bringing small moments of tart yeast. Well I actually like this, it’s not puckering and does not have bold flavors, but what is there works well together.

Not sure what was going on with this beer. Maybe I got a bad bottle? It was absolutely horrid! Poured supper fizzy and tasted like a cherries had been rinsed with old gym socks. Took a few sips, then drainpour...ugh!
