COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quintessential American pale ale, brewed with a blend of American hops. This copper colored ale is well balanced and pleasantly bitter with a spicy-citrus hop aroma, produced by a blend of Cluster and Cascade hops.

On draft at Fenway location, of course. Dark gold beer with thin smooth head that coats the side of the glass. no aroma at first; as beer warms up grassy aroma emerges. Assertive hop flavor with a sweet malt upturn at the end. Not violently hoppy, but well-hopped.

This traditional Pale ale oiffers not typical notes of citrus on the nose from the hops and this works into a balnced sweet palate with a lighlty bitter finish.

Sample from tap at the brewpub in Canal street. Pours orange light brown with a white head. Aroma is grape fruit hops. Flavour is dry and bitter with a clear fruitiness and malt base. No sweetness what so ever. Dry and strong bitter finish.

Dogbrick (7567) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 27, 2007
Sample at Beer Works Fenway (tower version): The beer is an orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Very little lacing of which to speak. Citrusy hops aroma with hints of roasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter and dry. Overall another forgettable and average beer.

(Cask version): Very similar to the regular beer, just with more muted aromas and flavors. Also a rounder, softer finish. Same score.

Amber, white fizzy head. Faint nose of earthy nuttiness, florals, and citrus. Flavor was lightly bittered with more earthy citrus and a touch of toasted sweet malt. Light bodied, light carbonation, dry, lightly bittered finish. Beats BMC I suppose....

Drank this with stegosaurus as part of our salem/boston tour.I liked this one. Poured an off orange with a medium head( good head retention). Aroma of hops is the first thing I noticed and with taste as well. A good brew.
