COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quintessential American pale ale, brewed with a blend of American hops. This copper colored ale is well balanced and pleasantly bitter with a spicy-citrus hop aroma, produced by a blend of Cluster and Cascade hops.

From a bomber. Copperish, with a rather thin head. Didn't get very much through the nose, although what was there was decent (it could have been from the atmosphere around me). Fruity, but not too much so. A little malty, a little more hoppy. Finished mildly with light lingering hop flavors.

On tap in Salem: Clear orange with a thin head. Sweet bready malt aroma, Grainy raosted taste that ends sweet. Fairly mild body without much carbonation.

Cask-conditioned Version: The beer is a somewhat hazy copper color. The server managed to get a little bit of a white head on mine. It dissapated rather quickly. Their description while short is rather to the pointand accurate: there is a fair amount of maltiness to this and not much in the way of hops. A little different balance than a typical pale ale, but still a pretty decent quaff!

Tried both cask-conditioned and non. Medium copper color with a white head. Mild hoppy aroma. Crisp flavor is initially somewhat fruity (peaches) and becomes more hoppy. Fairly strong finish of bitter hops lingers nicely. Body is full but not overly heavy, and combines with the flavor to produce a very refreshing overall effect.

Beautiful pour - thick creamy white head atop a hazy golden brew. Aroma is malty, with a hint of flowery hops in the back. Flavor starts sweet, malty, small fruitiness, follows with a good mild hop ending which brings it all together.

Nice color, perhaps a shade or two darker than most micro pales. This had and an admirable initial balance between the hop bitterness and malts, but in the end the hops came out on top. Not bad.

Medium Brown color, medium head. A medium bodied pale ale. Slightly roasted malts, slightly nutty with a touch of chocolate. Nice hop bitterness. Good balance, nice mix of flavors. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. After taste is fairly bitter. A little hoppy for a an American Pale Ale, but a nice beer.

A bit darker then expected of a pale. Malt sweetness in the nose, with a malt and raisen mouthfeel. Mellow hop bitterness and a fairly chewy consistancy. Nice flavorful version of a european pale ale. Was a bit sharp even being from a cask.

Brewed in California for Boston Beer Works?????? This was acidic at first, the hops was present but didn’t seem fresh or quenching. The nice malt that was more prevailant saved this from being poured into the sink.
